This is a repair harness for the melted connector issue found on many brands of washing machines built by Whirlpool. Your machine may be a Kenmore, or Roper, or any other number of brands, but if it uses switch part number 8318084 and it has a melted connector, this is the repair solution for your problem. This product does NOT include a new switch, but we sell a kit that does.
It is REQUIRED to replace your switch when you fix your melted harness connector, because the source of heat is actually a failing connection inside the switch. If you replace your harness connector without replacing the switch itself, you will burn up your new harness connector.
